Emily Lerer,  Wife of Ben Lerer

Emily Lerer is the wife of the CEO of Group Nine, Ben Lerer. Ben is the founder of Thrillist and holds the CEO position of Group Nine, a digital holding company of The Dodo, Seeker, Thrillist, and NowThis. It seems that putting up businesses runs in both his and his wife’s blood. His father, Ken, founded the Huffington Post, and he has been working closely with his father. Meanwhile, her sister Izzie founded the animal brand The Dodo which is popularly known as an online media brand that focuses on animals and animal rights issues.

It was launched in January 2014. While he is often accused of gaining success because he came from a family of successful people, he remained ambitious and made a name for himself somehow. Right now, Group Nine received an astonishing $100 million strategic investment from Discovery, Inc. They are now known as the largest shareholders of the parent company.
