Actors Sean Penn and the 28-year-old Leila George, daughter of fellow big-named star Vincent D’Onofrio, have been dating for two years. This year, though, they secretly got married in the midst of the pandemic. Rumors started circulating when celebrity Irena Medavoy posted a congratulatory message to the newlyweds. Despite the news rapidly spreading across platforms, Penn only confirmed the rumors when he appeared on Late Night with Seth Myers, saying that the two had a “COVID wedding.”

This means that the county commissioner held the ceremony via Zoom while the couple was at home surrounded by Penn’s kids and George’s brother. He also boasted his new wedding ring to the camera – safe to say, he was more than proud of their marriage. Now that the two officially tied the knot, they can now make investments as a couple. With that said, perhaps they’re already even planning about starting a family soon.
