Miriam Adelson, wife of Sheldon Adelson
Israeli-American physician Miriam Adelson was the wife of the late Sheldon Adelson, an American business magnate who was the CEO and the majority owner of the casino company Las Vegas Sands. She is currently the publisher of the newspaper Israel Hayom. Together with his late husband, Miriam was presented by Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholar of the Smithsonian Institution with the Woodrow Wilson Award for Corporate Citizenship back in 2008. She was also given the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2018 by Donald Trump.
Her late husband had a total net worth of $40 billion, which probably belongs to her now. She’d be a long way from ever needing personal loans if all was given to her. Although it’s not like she was reliant on her husband in all aspects. She is also a physician and the chief internist at the emergency room in Aviv’s Rokach (Hadassah) Hospital. She also founded a substance abuse center and research clinic in 1993.
