Heiress and only daughter of Liliane Bettencourt, Francoise Bettencourt Meyers, is a French billionaire and is part of the family that owns L’Oreal. She has a total net worth of $75 billion, making her one of the richest people on the planet, and to a certain degree, the richest woman in the world as well.

Francoise is currently married to Jean-Pierre Meyers, the CEO of Téthys, a holding company of the Bettencourt family, and the director of L’Oreal. They have been married since April 6, 1984, and the couple has two sons, Nicolas and Jean-Victor Meyers. Jean-Pierre has been a member of the Board of Directors since 1987 and the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors since 1994. He was later appointed as CEO of Tethys in December 2010, which controls 33.09% of L’Oreal. From 1991 to 2014, he was the director of Nestle, where the Bettencourt family was a shareholder.
