Helene Mercier, Wife of Bernard Arnault

Helene Mercier is a Canadian pianist who married billionaire tycoon, Bernard Arnault, who has an estimated net worth of a massive $87 billion. He holds the chair position and is the chief executive of the world’s largest luxury company, LVMH. After finishing his degree in 1971, he immediately started working for their company, Ferret-Savinel. He moved the focus of the company from construction to real estate, a move that turned out to be very successful.

Most of his wealth was brought in by Christian Dior, which his family holds a 73 percent stake in. This is one of his biggest investments compared to his other ventures. Arnault married once but got separated in 1990. He had two children in his previous relationship. He then married Mercier, with whom he has three children. It was Aurnault’s family who pledged  €200 million to help renovate and restore the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris during its devastating fire.
