Peter Hermann, Husband Of Mariska Hargitay

Mariska Hargitay’s first acting gigs were mostly for minor roles, one of which is in the horror film Ghoulies. After starring in more recurring roles in other shows, including Prince Street, Can’t Hurry Love, and ER, Mariska finally got the recognition she deserved for her performance as Olivia Benson in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Having portrayed the character since its 1999 premiere, Mariska is now the show’s longest-running cast member.

Like Mariska, Peter Hermann is an actor, though he has also worked as a writer and producer. The two first met during a production of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, where Peter has a recurring role as defense attorney Trevor Langan. Along the way, he also starred in other projects like United 93, 30 Rock, Cashmere Mafia, Blue Bloods, and Younger. Besides acting, Peter also wrote a children’s book titled If the S in Moose Comes Loose.
