There are numerous ways for a hobby to be discovered. For Ice Cube, it was when his classmate challenged him to rap. Not long after, he began writing his own tracks and eventually pioneered the NWA, a rap group comprised of him, Eazy-E, and Dr. Dre. Outside his career in the music industry, Ice Cube also spent some investment money in the film industry, producing the 2015 NWA biopic, Straight Outta Compton.

For almost 30 years already, Ice Cube is happily married to Kimberly Woodruff. Although she prefers to stay out of the spotlight as much as possible, Kimberly still takes the time to accompany the rapper in several red-carpet events. Today, the couple has four kids, with the eldest being O’Shea Jackson Jr., who portrayed his father in Straight Outta Compton. Besides the father-son duo sharing a resemblance in appearance, O’Shea’s performance as the NWA pioneer was also highly praised by audiences, including his dad.
