Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen got married to the superstar athlete Tom Brady in February 2009. They credit their first meeting when a mutual friend put them up on a blind date. The couple had two ceremonies: one in California and the other in Costa Rica. Before all of that, the two went through a lot in their relationship. Bündchen and Brady had a love at first sight situation, but their fairytale-like story almost fell apart. Thankfully, they got past the obstacles and are staying happy.

Bündchen believes that in a marriage, you and your partner have to have each other’s backs. When one is weak, the other person can the source of strength. She also thinks that couples need to evolve because a marriage should progress. A relationship needs to have constant communication to continue building up their partnership. Bündchen knows that change is constant and that people should not be afraid of making a lifelong investment in a relationship because it will only help it grow.
