JOHNELLE HUNT, WIDOW OF JOHNNIE BRYAN HUNT

Known for her long-time relationship with Johnnie Hunt, Johnelle Hunt met her soulmate as early as their high school days. She helped him get started by investing in his rice hulls company. As the company grew larger, before long, she was working full-time and helping with a number of things, including managing financial statements, bookkeeping, and the day-to-day operations of the company.

In the present day, Mrs. Hunt holds a seat in The Harvey and Bernice Institute Advisory Board. She’s been the recipient of a number of awards, including the Arkansas Easter Seal Arkansans of the Year, alongside her husband who were the first to receive the award. Since her husband’s passing, she has taken it upon herself to maintain an active role in their company, to make sure that her and her husband’s legacy remain for years to come.
